Huawei has announced a new partnership with U Mobile to promote the Ascend P7 smartphone in Malaysia. This partnership should allow more Malaysians to have access to quality devices running on quality networks without having to pay a premium for them.

The Huawei Ascend P7 was launched here early last month and is quite a performer for its price. The 8MP front camera is one of its highlights but everything else is just as good. From a Full HD display, to an in-house quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat ensures that this device doesn’t go out of style anytime soon.
U Mobile’s micro-site for the P7 offer is also up and running and provides details of the 3 different 24-month contract plans that are being offered. At the highest end, the RM138 plan comes with 5GB of data, 350 mins of voice calls and 250 SMS between U Mobile numbers as well as 350 mins of voice calls and 250 SMS to other networks. You will still have to purchase the phone for RM188 though but your purchase includes a free Huawei power bank.
